We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable playworker, preferably with experience in ASN support to join our friendly team of regular staff. Based at Towerbank Primary School right by the sea in Porty, our Club is the longest running After School Club in Edinburgh and we continue to be dedicated to providing care of the highest possible standard.
We need a specialist team-member for various After School and Breakfast Club sessions to support children on a one-to-one basis, plus Holiday Club sessions by agreement.
Do you enjoy working with children and especially those who need extra support? Do you have a positive, energetic and friendly attitude? Are you skilled and experienced in facilitating fun play activities with primary aged children? Are you able to, hygienically and efficiently, create and serve healthy snacks? Are you willing to undertake extra duties such as enhanced cleaning in order to keep our children safe?

We would especially like to hear from you if you are a member of the PVG scheme, are registered with SSSC and have in place up to date Child Protection, First Aid & Food Safety training certification, though we can support you to gain these if necessary. Qualifications (such as SVQs in Playwork) and previous experience in working to support children with ASN are desirable but not essential.
Pay from £10.90 per hour, for an immediate start (following safe recruitment and all relevant checks/induction/training)
