Outside term time, Towerbank After School Club runs a holiday club during the October, February, Easter and Summer breaks.

Running from 8:45am – 5:45pm each day Holiday clubs provide a variety of activities including trips to the local parks, library and the beach, loads of messy, arty, outdoor fun as well as various activities further afield such as the cinema, science museums, activity centres, zoos and parks.
Snacks: Each day of Holiday Club we provide two snacks. In the morning a choice of cereals and toast, in the afternoon a selection of healthy snacks similar to our After School Club snacks. Please provide a NUT FREE packed lunch for your child. On an all day trip please send extra snacks and lots of water (a couple of water bottles please). Please note that TASC is a nut free environment!
Clothing: It’s always a good idea during Holiday Club to pack spare clothes and make sure children are appropriately dressed for the day’s activities. A change of clothes is needed on beach days, water fun days and for many other messy play activities! If it is a trip day please provide clothing appropriate for a range of Scottish summer weather!
Transport: On some days we plan to travel on public transport and we also use booked coaches for the trips further afield. We will abide by all appropriate protocols when using these services.
Popular days may fill up quickly so I would advise you to book a space as soon as you can.
Places will go on a first come, first served basis BUT you will be added to a waiting list if the day is fully booked, in case of cancellations.
Fees are £31 per day and where applicable half days are £15.50 (trip days can only be booked as full days), plus an £8 surcharge for some of the more expensive trips.

Disclaimers
There are a few provisos attached to any Holiday Club programme:
- Each Holiday is dependent on our Lettings confirmation from Edinburgh Council, sometimes buildings works are planned in school holidays and we may not be able to run.
- We hope that the pandemic is mostly behind us now but all activities are still Covid/infectious disease dependent.
- Some activities are weather dependent and we may swap activities around if the weather is particularly bad. The “Big Trips” will go ahead regardless.
- Cinema trips can be subject to change as you can’t always book in advance and changes can be made to the showings at the last minute. We will always replace a film with another of a similar certificate and that we hope the children will enjoy. In the case of a compete cancellation we will aim to replace the trip with another similar activity.
