Easter Holiday Club
We launched our Easter Holiday Club on Monday 6th March, with some exciting activities planned including taking part in the city’s International Science Festival and a visit from the author/illustrator of one of TASC’s favourite books “I am Bat!” Morag Hood- it’s the book I love to read to the children the most!! More details and photos in April’s Update…
Parent and Child Feedback
We have been making a few changes recently, mainly to try to offer children more choice over where they play and when they eat snack, plus we’re introducing some more take-home activities and options such as soft chill out/reading areas. We always love to hear how you as our families feel about TASC so if you have any comments or thoughts or suggestions please let me know. You can send any comments to becky.tasc@gmail.com – they will all be much appreciated and help us to keep improving our care for your children.
TASC AGM 28th March 2023
We held a Zoom meeting on 28th March at 6pm and it was a chance for us to share a review of the past year at TASC and for parents/carers to ask any questions, raise issues or give us any feedback on our service, plus of course there were a few legalities to complete, but we kept those as succinct as possible! It was great to see a good number of our current families and some new faces.
Re-registrations New Year 2023/24
At the AGM on 28th March we launched the new Registrations for 23/24, with our new registration form, now live HERE
Please be aware we are an over-subscribed service with a limited capacity (as prescribed by the Care Inspectorate based on our available space and staffing). We have a limit of 30 children for Breakfast Club and 80 at After School Club. We will receive many more applications than we have spaces and we allocate these according to TASC’s Allocation Policy as fairly as we can. If you do not receive a place at this stage you will be added to our waiting list and we will notify you if a place becomes available. For new P1 parents, unfortunately there can be no guarantee that we will have a space for your child when they start Towerbank Primary. We are very sorry about this and wish we could take everyone who applies, we hope you understand that this is not possible.

I am aware this is a stressful time for everyone. Our first priority is to current members – we will allow a few weeks for current members to re-apply before we offer out to others. CURRENT MEMBERS: Please ensure that re-registration forms are completed and your membership fee is paid by 16th April to guarantee the places you currently hold.

When you complete the form you will receive an automated receipt of application (check your spam!), then please allow at least 28 days for the application to be processed, when you will be offered a place or informed of your position in the waiting list (you may hear before this). Please be patient as we will need time to ensure the process is completed as fairly and accurately as possible.
